As always you can only visit the Dom Tower with a guided tour. Our staff and guides wear face masks and we strongly advise our visitors (over 12 years old) to do the same. We downsized the number of places available in a tour and changed the routing in our shop and in the tower. It enables us everyone to keep social distancing. Our guides have been instructed and are happy to assist you during your visit. Our employees, in both the shop and the tower, will do extra cleaning. Object regularly being touched by visitors will have special attention, such as the lockers and stair railings.
A visit by stairs is only possible with a guided tour. A tour lasts about 1 hour. We have downsized the number of places available due to Covid-19 measures. You can book your tickets online in our Ticketshop or at the Dom Tower desk in the Tourist Information Shop at Domplein 9.
A visit by elevator is only possible with a guided tour and lasts about 25 minutes. Because there is limited space in the elevator and due to Covid-19 measures, tickets for the elevator need to be purchased per household. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
You can book tickets in our Ticketshop. Please select the size of your household, then choose your date and time of preference. Households containing of more than 5 persons can contact us in order to make a reservation. More information about a visit by elevator can be found here.
Your eTicket must be scanned at our Dom Tower desk in the Tourist Information Shop at Domplein 9. If you bought tickets for more than 1 person, we request you to send in only 1 person. The others can wait outside. Wearing a face mask is obliged and we ask you to follow the indicated routing in the shop. Pay by card as much as possible. Our employee at the desk will do a general health check and give you further information about your visit to the Tower.
If you are visiting the museum with people with whom you share a household (immediate family, your partner or other members of your household), the 1.5 metres of distance need not be observed between members of your group. Social distancing is also not obliged for people younger than 13 years old. Do always keep at least 1.5 metres of distance between the other visitors and our employees.
You can still visit the Dom Tower with a group of students. At the moment we have a maximum capacity of 20 students per group (including supervisors). If you are with more than 20 people, you can always book an additional tour. Please keep in mind that people over 12 years old are obliged to wear a face mask during the visit.
You can still book a private visit to the Dom Tower. At the moment we have a maximum capacity of 20 people per group. If you are with more than 20 people, you can always book an additional tour.
The Dom Tower is the perfect venue for a company event, a festive (wedding)party, an intimate family reception or a romantic wedding. The possibilities of organising one of these events is heavily dependent on the current measures and the type of event that you want to organise.
