The Utrecht Tourism Foundation ('Stichting Toerisme Utrecht') feels it is important to demonstrate that the Dom Tower can be operated as a sustainable tourist attraction.
Green Key is the international quality mark for companies in the tourism and leisure sector. Businesses bearing this quality mark are actively working on sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and care for the environment and nature.
We were awarded the bronze Green Key certificate in 2013, and since 2015 we have been the proud holders of the silver Green Key certificate.

Corporate Social Responsibility
The Dom Tower has been the symbol of the city of Utrecht for more than 600 years now. It is important to us that its symbolic role not only refers to the past, but also represents the fact that we feel responsible for ensuring sustainable business practices into the future. That is why we have drawn up a Corporate Social Responsibility declaration which lists the core values we want to comply with.
